Use this dry creosote remover on the toughest glazed creosote buildups. Creosote remover changes creosote into a dry, loose, non-adhering deposit, which flakes away and is more easily brushed off. Check for blockage after using on heavy buildup. Spread one scoop of the dry material over the fuel and light the fire. Apply another treatment in 3-4 days, then use one scoop weekly. Not a substitute for regular thorough chimney cleaning, but it makes that job easier.
